Xtream on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV
Xtream Codes is not an app but an interface: your provider hands you a server address, a username and a password. Every player that speaks it shows the same catalog — the difference is what it makes of it.
Get the three details ready
From your provider you need the server address (often like http://example.tv:8080), a username and a password. If what you have instead is a long link containing get.php, that is an M3U address — it works too, just take the playlist route.
Enter them once
On first launch WebIPTV asks for your access. Pick Xtream, fill in the three fields, connect. A tap on “Paste” fills all fields at once when the credentials sit together on the clipboard.
Choose what interests you
Many subscriptions carry tens of thousands of entries. Rather than loading everything, you pick categories — channels, movies, shows — and the app builds your library from them. Changeable at any time.
Carry it to your other devices
The credentials stay in your device keychain and travel to iPad and Apple TV through your own private iCloud. No second typing, no account with us.
How many connections does your subscription allow?
Most providers allow one or two simultaneous streams. If the TV is playing and you start a second stream on the phone, the server may drop the first. That is the provider’s limit, not the app’s.
Several providers at once
Two Xtream accounts, or one plus an M3U list, run side by side and merge into one library. In the library you can filter by provider.
Common questions
Do I need a subscription with you and one with my provider?
WebIPTV is a player and carries no content. You keep your own subscription; the app costs from $0.83 a month after a seven-day trial and covers all your Apple devices.
Does Xtream work on Apple TV as well?
Yes, same app, same purchase. The credentials come along through your iCloud; you type them once.
What if my provider changes the server address?
You enter the new address in settings. Watchlist, history and channel lists survive, because they belong to your profile rather than to the server.
